22 November 2009.

A day whereby my squadmates & me looked forward totally when we were in Secondary 1. What day is that? It is the NPCC Passing Out Parade (POP). Its been the day that we all always moarn to come as fast as possible during those Sec 1 & 2 Friday NPCC training times.

Slowly the feeling change when each of us got an important & memorable role to remember. It changed also due to we feel the honour to teach our juniors at different levels of fun. The honour feeling is indescribeable. It just up lifted our spirit to serve NPCC to our fullest capability.

Iszuwan was the Parade Commander for NDP 08. Sufie was the Best Unit Male Cadet. Firdaus was the representative for Fajar Secondary School at the Singapore NDP 08. Syafiq was the Annual Camp 2009 Assistant Camp Coordinator. I was the Annual Camp 2009 Camp Coordinator. Umairah was the Best Unit Female Cadet.

All the post that we took before had been one hell of a memory. Lots of ups & downs during the process of acheiving a successfull time in the particular post. Being the Parade Commander need to be perfect on the actual day or you will be shame in front of the whole school. Being the Best Unit Male Cadet & Best Unit Female Cadet needed lots of patient & frequent training for drills to give a perfection one every training. Being the representative for Fajar Secondary School at the Singapore NDP 08 was something which was very very honourable. Being the Annual Camp 2009 Assistant Camp Coordinator needed lots of cooperation with the Coordinator & team. Lastly, being the Annual Camp 2009 Camp Coordinator needed tons of patient level, stress management must be sky high & the camp must run well or CC will take the blame & shame.

Today's POP was fantastic! It will be one of the well remembered days in my life. Its very touching to see the upcoming NCOs busily planning in their groups & working on some cards just to make our last day in NPCC such a memorable one. It did bought back memories whereby my squadmates & I sat at the McDonalds BPP & planning for the Annual Camp 2009. Disagreements & foughts did happened during planning. Tons of papers messily placed in front of me. I busily noting down every suggestions that were shooting at me. What a memory!

To be honest, the plan of the day as what i could saw was great. Fantastic games were prepared for us. The ceremony was great too! Received a card with a picture that was took few hours back & inside the card was filled with different touching comments from the upcoming NCOs.

Parade started at around 4pm. Everything were fine. I was feeling relaxed. It was till the moment whereby the TOs, CIs & WCIs inspect my whole squad. What i meant by inspecting was each TOs, CIs & WCIs will stop at each cadet & give some word of encouragement & appreciation talk. I seriously couldn't hold back my tears & broke down a little. You know why? The switch on the song title "Hero" by Mariah Carey. That song was the main cause of me to break down. The word of encouragements + appreciation talks + song title "Hero" by Mariah Carey + touching moments = Too Unbearable.

To my Sec 1s,

All the best in your NPCC career. Do enjoy every single moments of NPCC. Its a sad thing that i can't guide you people all the way to POP. The last training time i had with all of you was the furthest i could go. But i will be always there to support all of you till you people POP! Don't worry! Continue & have the uttermost fun in NPCC!

To Sec 2s,

Prepare yourself for the biggest time of your NPCC career that will be next year as the NCOs! All the best & have the uttermost fun too!

To Sec 3s,

Time is running out. You people will POP in about 1 year few months. Enjoy every moment to the earth core! Treasure it! Create as much unforgettable memories along the way before you POP! Jia you Sec 3s! All the best on taking over us as the NCOs & have the uttermost fun too!
