Pre-camp

It starts at 1pm on the 17/6/09. I reach school pretty late as i got to go BPP to get envelopes for my Amazing Race. I stepped in school with full happiness & confident of leading my fellow NCOs to prepare all logistics for the camp. Put my bag down in the canteen & pluck off my earpiece off my ear & my fellow NCOs all chaos saying " Arif, camp change to 2 days 1 night & no overnight for precamp!". I was like WHATTHEHELL! Rush up to the staff room to confirm with Ms Christina Joseph & yes it is confirm that the camp change to 2 days 1 night & no overnight. I was dishearted to the very core. Follow Ms Christina Joseph to the concourse & we RE-PLANNED the schedule. Really a hard pain to see the schedule got re-planned as its my hardwork for 6 months. But me, Ms Christina Joseph & all sirs do to the very best we can to make the camp still fun. About 2 hours of re-planning, preparation starts till 7pm & off we go. The enthu towards the camp still on for my fellow NCOs, my assistance & myself.

Annual Camp

The day have come! I told my fellow NCOs that this two days will be the decisive one. Its either we make it to a success one together or we suffer from shame together due to a failure. All activities went as plan. Campers did had fun for all activities. Me as the Camp coord is pretty boring you know? Once activity starts, i will sit somewhere & look at their behaviour etc. If the activity last for 2 hours, i will just sit or walk around for 2 hours. Greatness right? At least my fellow NCOs can join their group in the activity. Haizz! But nevermind as i enjoyed laughing at the campers during their games. All sorts of thing happened. Omg!

Basically the 1st day was pretty frustrating for me as the campers movement were very slow. I myself don't know why. They got to go 5 level of hell within 7am to 11pm. All 5 hell issue by me. Hoho!

1st hell: Run to the last goalpost (7.30am)

2nd hell: 10 push ups (12pm)

3rd hell: Touch the 3rd tree

4th hell: Touch the 4th tree

5th hell: 25 push ups (11pm)

I issue all the 5 hells not because i have the power to do so or because i want the campers to suffer. Its just because i am very unhappy with their slacky, slow movements.

In the first day also, all NCOs including myself & my assistance got to fill up 96O WATER BOMBS! Omg! Thats the part whereby Devi, SUFIE SELAMAT, Syafiq start our nonsense. And the nonsense stays strong till this moment. We all took 1 hour 30 mins to complete filling up all 960 water bombs.

All campers end their day at around 11pm++ with a superb 15 minutes scolding from me. Pity those whom are enthu for the first day but yet still got that superb scolding. Campers bunk in & sleep while the NCOs got de-brief till 12am. Omg i am damn tired already during the de-brief. Clock strikes 12am & off the NCO's turn to bunk in. By the time, i am already feeling not well & my voice somehow not right. I am the last to bunk in but the first to sleep as i want to wake up by 4.30am to ensure second day will be the best for the campers.

Second Day

Its 4.30am & i tried to wake up but can't due to my heavy head. Dragged it all the way till 5am. Force myself up & off to have a quick bath. Even though i scold all the campers upside down about 6 hours ago, i still haven't gave up on them. I told myself that will be at their very best today. Soo, rush down to the command post at around 5.20am & start preparing my Amazing Race clue cards etc. Seriously i did all the preparation with a heavy head & somehow not much voice.

At 8.15am brief them about the Amazing Race & flag off at 8.30am. The Amazing Race lasts for 4 hours. I observe all the campers movement from one checkpoint to another. I was impress as they really show their full participation & enthu in the race. At 11am, the winner of the Annual Camp's Amazing Race 2009 is known! It was Skubumas! The claiming of 1st & 2nd spot was VERY VERY CLOSE. The 2nd position team,Fostran, was just behind Skubumas when they are rushing to enter the final box. In the end, 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th spots are all claim by 11.30am. Close fights between all groups. Congrats to those whom got top 4 positions. Whileas to those whom were eliminated, good try & prehaps hope that next year there will be another Amazing Race. THANK YOU FOR THE PARTICIPATION CAMPERS!

At 3.30pm, its time to break camp. Sirs etc welcome me up to stage to deliver the closing speech as i am the Camp coord. I took the oppurtunity to tell their performance of the day & thank all campers, my fellow NCOs & all sirs for the SUCCESS of the camp. The speech was labeled "The oscar winner speech" by Ms Christina Joseph. HAHA! Ms Christina Joseph gave me the honour to officially end the camp but i decline it as its better for the camp OIC to end the camp.

All dismiss & i breathe the sight of relieve as its a SUCCESS, ENJOYABLE & MEMORABLE CAMP!

Life

Two words that can describe my life now. Incrediblely busy. Busy with school & outings & camps. June holidays was always the moment i enjoy my life to overseas trip for the past few years. For example last year, i went to Vietnam, Kuantan, Batam & KL in the whole month of June. Specific date? 2-5 june to Kuantan. 9-11 june to Batam. 12-16 june to Vietnam. 17-22 june to KL. Just imagine the moment of fun i had last year june? Miss the fun to the very core.

Soo how about this year's June? OH-MY-GOD! 1- 5 June is a AIN'T NO HOLIDAY for us. Worse still it is the INTENSIVE LESSON for the whole week. & it was really really intensive. I can roll on the floor in stressness! Like seriously! The amount of homeworks shoot to us was OH-MY-GOD! After the intensive lesson is also AIN'T FREE TIME! Its time to go d&t workshop to complete our N level artefact. Gosh! Stress in class from 8am to 1.30pm & again stress in the workshop from 1.30pm to 5pm!

6-12 june is also a AIN'T NO HOLIDAY for us. Intensive classes already ended for NA classes but express still going strong. This time round its d&t workshop for the week! Being in the workshop is not frustrating. Doing my artefact is also not frustrating. BUT dealing with the teachers & instructors is VERY VERY FRUSTRATING! Its as if you're talking to an ant. If i ask what to do next, i will get lecture from the teacher. If i do it without asking, i will also get scolding for not asking first. WHATTHEHELL! They deserve to be shot & bury alive mann! Stupid assholes.

Soo now intensive class & d&t workshop over. LIKE FINALLY! But it is still AIN'T NO FREE TIME for me. Damn shitty ass! Today kenduri, tomorrow going out to get camp stuffs & off outing with family, Monday will sent grandmother & grandfather to airport as they're going Umrah, Tuesday going out again, Wednesday to Saturday is the Annual Camp! My holiday starts after the 20th. As in 20th all the way to school reopen will be free. LIKE FINALLY! & i am looking forward for the Annual Camp!
